In recent times, Nigeria has been facing a lot of challenges due to security lapses within the security outfits in the country, this is sad because it is the only last hope of the common man where his life and properties will be protected but to the greatest surprise of the common man the security outfit cannot secure their own territory talk more of securing the lives and properties of the common man.

There are a handful of questions on the lips of every Nigerian be it the poor, the rich or the so called common man in other words masses or peasants, ranging from; Where the Police not doing their jobs? Are they always waiting for information from the general public before they act? Are the information reaching them taking with all seriousness and urgency?

Boko Haram is an Islamic sect that is opposing western education, that according to them "western education is illegal and should not be thought in Nigeria". the most of it is that most of the members of the sect are attain in one way of the other some level of education in various field of study, some of them are graduates and undergraduates in different professional fields of disciplines but to the greatest surprise of the people and their relatives they throw away that and settle to be with the sect. Their victims are at initial the Nigeria Police and their allied but it has turned out to be a general phenomenon of killing every body.

Sometimes in 2008, the Nigerian Police raided their homes and arrest their leader MOHAMMED YUSUF whom they killed in custody. The members of the sect went on silence and regroup and came back to take a revenge on the Nigerian Police in Maiduguri, Borno State of North-Eastern part of Nigeria.
